Job Description:

Lead HCP
and Institutional marketing efforts for product promotion. Including disease
education



Lead the development, creation, and
implementation of branded and unbranded HCP promotional materials

Function as the internal champion for the product category and as the primary
field contact Maintain strong disease and product knowledge; support internal
and external customer education programs and product training as required Basic
Qualifications

Developing, monitoring and control the Marketing Plan for supervised products
to modify/adapt the marketing mix of activities to achieve sales objectives

Ensure effective implementation of marketing plans (monitor, control, revise)
and strategy to achieve annual profitability objectives

Demonstrate deep knowledge of diabetes and market trends

Own personal and non-personal promotional plans for HCP facing tactics

Lead KOL engagement and speaker programs

Partner closely with sales teams to ensure message pull through, provide
support, monitor performance, and uncover opportunities and issues in execution

Work with cross-functional team to develop, coordinate, and execute field
training and Plan of Action (POA) meetings

Ensure that all marketing processes, documents and tactics are developed and
implemented in accordance with corporate compliance guidelines.

Foster strong partnerships with Medical Affairs, Sales, Regulatory, Legal, and
other functions

Formulate and review short and long-range plans, goals, and objectives for
specific product or product line.

Conduct competitive product analysis and market research of product consumer
behavior and professional audience.

Determines the profitability and viability of new products or product
enhancements.

Serves as technical adviser, demonstrating products and troubleshooting product
issues.

Commercial leadership for product development of consumables product pipeline

Understand and optimize patient experience with product portfolio

Serve as a business liaison with alliance partners

Provide portfolio scenario planning and value assessment

Conduct market research to uncover customer and business insights; translate
those insights into products and programs that deliver growth for the product
category

Represent the category during medical conferences, sales meetings, and customer
visits

Implement Marketing Plan and take action accordingly

Provide constant examination of competitors market

Participate in all tactical marketing issues within agreed budget/plan

Act as the product champion to motivate the sales forces

Take decision on all tactical marketing issues within agreed budget/plan

Provide input on new product development via the international product managers

 

Qualification, Knowledge and Experience requirement:

 

BS/BA required, MBA/Pharmacist preferred

5+ years product/brand management experience

Launch experience

Diabetes disease experience and understanding of the diabetes landscape
preferred

Strong formal presentation development and delivery skills required

Experience managing external vendors and effective budget management

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and
effectively influence, collaborate, and communicate with internal and external
partners

Ability to communicate and work closely with the following business functions
to successfully lead initiatives: Sales force, Medical, Legal, Regulatory,
Business Ops and Multiple agencies

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and

Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and demonstrated financial,
communication, and presentation skills

Detail-oriented self-starter capable of owning initiatives from beginning to
end

Ability to travel 20-30%.
